HPAE: PUTTING CARE FIRST

  • COPE is a voice for HPAE members advocating for safe patient care and working conditions. Every day, state, local and federal officials make decisions that affect the health and safety of our patients, and our workplaces.
  • HPAE members are challenging elected officials to do more to protect the interests of patients by passing laws and regulations including:
  • Safe staffing levels in hospitals, nursing homes and other health care facilities, health and safety standards, oversight, and transparency of all health care facilities.
  • As consolidation of health care providers and insurers is taking place at a rapid pace,
  • HPAE members will continue to speak out to protect services for our community and ensure quality of care is always a top priority, and not the financial interests of shareholders and private investors.

MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
