Rutgers Labor Relations Department has confirmed for our union the schedule of the negotiated pay increases for our HPAE Local 5089 bargaining unit members. Although there has been a delay, the increases will be paid retroactively.

 There are only two contested positions:

  1. Vice President for Rutgers and Rowan Universities
  2. Vice President for UH Emergency and Critical Care Division

Only Local 5089 members in these Divisions will receive ballots. All

On Wednesday, December 9th, after five days of voting, the members of HPAE Local 5089 voted by an overwhelming majority of 99% to ratify our new contract with Rutgers University.

This is the first contract we've negotiated with the University since the merger with UMDNJ

Voting is open through 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
