Our bargaining team fought for a fair contract, and we are finally seeing the results of the negotiated increases. By now, you should see the HPAE negotiated increases on your My Compensation History section of the My Rutgers portal.
We will keep you informed as we begin to work with Rutgers to process the scheduled increases and implement the new contract language.

While this small movement shows that workers coming together to put pressure on the University does make a difference, it also shows that we will need to do much more to get the contract we all deserve.
Our union sisters and brothers in the AAUP held a strike authorization vote beginning on February 28 to hear if the membership of that union will authorize their bargaining team to schedule a strike if they believe it is necessary.
